Thanks and Music and Weather updates.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.

Go look at the beautiful post Dalene did about my Blogathon efforts! Thank you, luv.

In other news, the CSNY concert last night was so very excellent. I cannot even begin to tell you. These boys sound better than ever. We had some extremely annoying people sitting behind us who had obviously not read anything about this particular concert and didn't know it was called the Freedom of Speech tour and didn't know that it would be spotlighting much of the new work by various members of the band and that they would not just be playing their old music that everyone loves so well. Besides that, they were very drunk. So every time a song came on from one of the new albums, the very annoying voiced woman from behind would yell, "Come on Neil, play something we know!" Puhleeze. I think her voice contributed more to my migraine than anything else did.

Yes. Migraine. Which no amount of macchiato could help this morning. So now I rest. Could be weather related... I awakened to thunder. We really needed the rain.

And in other weather news around here? Danger will robinson - TEMPERATURES WILL RISE INTO THE LOW TO MID 90S AS A RESULT ACROSS THIS AREA WITH DEW POINTS IN THE LOW 70S. THIS COMBINATION OF HEAT AND HUMIDITY IS EXPECTED TO RESULT IN DANGEROUS HEAT INDICES AROUND 105 DEGREES THIS AFTERNOON. WILL WARM INTO THE UPPER 90S TO AROUND 100 DEGREES THIS AFTERNOON WITH DEW POINTS IN THE LOWER 70S. HEAT INDICES OF 105 TO 108 DEGREES WILL BE POSSIBLE. TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY DROP TO THE MIDDLE 70S BY MONDAY MORNING. THIS WILL CAUSE STRUCTURES WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING TO POTENTIALLY BUILD UP TO UNSAFE LEVELS OF HEAT. WITH POTENTIALLY LIFE THREATENING CONDITIONS. I don't make much of a weather girl, Mark. Sorry about that. ;-)

So no running for me this afternoon.
