The 2:00 post - #13 Blogathon 2006, Yo.

It's Blogathon day! 24-hours of Solid Gold Fun!

Looks like I have 4 minutes to write this one. Marge and I have been chatting. So I told her "Quick - give me a topic." She looked up today's topic in The Writer's Book of Days and today's topic is Write about a scent...

So a free write on A Scent...

Sitting in Dunn Bros there is one dominating scent today. Peaches. Yup. How can that be? I don't have a clue where it is coming from. I think it must be from the chewy bar that the girl who was sitting next to me a little while ago opened up. I don't know for certain. Or perhaps the teen is wearing some peach lip gloss. I know she isn't drinking a peach smoothy. Nor is her friend who sits by the fireplace. While I sit here writing and expecting to smell espresso beans, and with my stomach gurgling in a very hungry manner listening to the great tunes they have playing today, all I can smell is peaches. And it makes me that much more hungry.

So who's going to bring me a fresh peach, yo?

Join in the fun by stopping by often and make sure you comment when you do visit. I want to know who comes by. And if you want to donate to my favorite charity - The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Hudson, you can do so by Clicking Here!

(If you happen to have Norton Antivirus with Adware blocking installed, you may have a little difficulty because of a bug in their software. You can shut off adware to go to the Blogathon site and sponsor me. Or you can simply head HERE and sponsor me directly on the Relay site.)

Thank you!
