The great high school quiz... I do too have a memory!

Also swiped from Cursing Mama.

  1. Who was your best friend?
  2. Lynn, aka Pooh for much of it until I screwed that up when boys entered the picture...
  3. What sports did you play? I wasn't an athelete... I was a dancer!
  4. What kind of car did you drive? My folks bought a Ford Escort wagon with the wood grain panel on the sides that had been a dealer car so it had all the bells and whistles. It was great.
  5. It's Friday night, where'd you hang out? Either at a movie, a wrestling match, a football game, a basketball game or L's house. After the game? Uncle Barney's for pizza!
  6. Were you a party animal? Um, no. I didn't even know the parties were going on. That's how not a party animal I was.
  7. Were you considered a flirt? Katie? Are you reading? Was I considered a flirt? ;)
  8. Ever skip school? Will this be on our permanent record? (heh) Yes, I skipped almost every last day of school. I also skipped one gorgeous spring day per year by hunting down the Pooh bear and saying, "Got your car? Looks like a good day for shopping." We were out of there before either of us could bat another eyelash...
  9. Ever smoke? I don't recall smoking in high school. I'd already had that phase in Jr. High or middle school and it came back in later years, but I can't recall it in high school, but it is definitely possible.
  10. Were you a nerd? As Keli looks back and hears my tales she says yes due to my being a member of the AV club. heh. But membership in this club was for different reasons than the usual... She also says I was a total prep in high school. Which I was. Can you be both? I dunno.
  11. Did you get suspended/expelled? Nada.
  12. Can you sing the Alma Mater? Well, duh. I can still do the old moves from the cheer to it, too!
  13. Who was your favorite teacher? Tough one. Either Mr. Krupa or Mr. Kocmoud. (and yes, I know I just ripped the spelling of his name all out of whack.) And they are both still teaching. I've seen them both recently from a distance. Both teachers in the math department.
  14. Favorite class? Geometry
  15. What was your school's full name? HHS
  16. School mascot? Go Raiders!
  17. Did you go to Prom? ya. Too many times.
  18. If you could go back and do it over, would you? Not if you paid me.
  19. What do you remember most about graduation? The night after - going to the parties with a great friend.
  20. Favorite memory of your senior year? The attempted emotional saves by a friend when things weren't going well for me. It was obvious I had a dear friend there if I ever needed one.
  21. Were you ever posted up on the senior wall? I'm with CM on this one - what the heck is a senior wall?
  22. Did you have a job your senior year? Yep, and I still say those of us working in the dietary department of the local hospital had the best high school job around... best pay, great hours and lots of fun with each other.
  23. Who did you date? The high school jock. ;) (hi gang!) He was on the track team, the cross country team and the wrestling team.
  24. Where did you go most often for lunch? The commons. Also not an open campus. When I wasn't there I was hanging out in the band room or the AV room, commonly referred to as the "pit."
  25. Have you gained weight since then? Come on. Who hasn't (aside from maybe KathyHowe...)?
  26. What did you do after graduation? Spent a summer working at the local temp factory and then headed off to UW-RF (woohoo!). (and by headed off I mean, stayed at home and got up in the morning and drove to classes continuing to work my high school job at the hospital and continued to date the boyfriend from high school who was a senior that year... so more of the same really)
  27. When did you graduate? 1983
