For Betty...

I ran this afternoon between lunch with Cari and laughter with new friends. So my running was bookended with laughter. Can't beat that.

I ran for the sister of one of those new friends. Bill (one of the sources of my recent ab workout laughter... haven't I got the greatest people in my life?) told me about his sister Betty and how he felt so bad for her at the wedding of her daughter recently because she got so tired before the reception had really wound down. She's going through chemo at the moment, you see. Betty began her fight with pancreatic cancer which is now in her liver. Send her your best thoughts and prayers. Thank you.
